RezScale Modeling cares deeply about your privacy. We therefore only process data that we need for (improving) our services and handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our services with care. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes.
This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the services provided by RezScale Modeling. The starting date for the validity of these terms and conditions is 30/12/2021, with the publication of a new version the validity of all previous versions expires. This privacy policy describes what information about you is collected by us, what this information is used for and with whom and under what conditions this information may be shared with third parties. We also explain to you how we store your data and how we protect your data against misuse and what rights you have with regard to the personal data you provide to us.

About data processing
Below you can read how we process your data, where we store it, which security techniques we use and for whom the data is visible.
Web hosting
Our website
We manage this website on our own virtual server. To provide and secure the website, we process connection data, including the IP address. We do not use that data for advertising profiles.
Proton Mail
We use the services of Proton Mail for our regular business e-mail traffic. This party has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, loss and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Proton Mail does not have access to our mailbox and we treat all our email traffic confidentially.
Protection of 3D Files
At RezScale Modeling we understand the importance of the confidentiality and integrity of the 3D files you entrust to us. We apply strict measures to ensure that your 3D files are handled and protected in accordance with European guidelines.
We will never share your 3D files with third parties, unless this is necessary for the implementation of specific adjustments that you have approved. In cases where the involvement of a third party is required, we will always request your explicit permission in advance. We ensure that these third parties are also bound by the same strict confidentiality obligations and security measures as we are.
Our working method means that we always handle your files with care and only use them for the purposes agreed with you. We will never distribute, make public or use your 3D files for other purposes without your explicit permission.
RezScale Modeling is committed to protecting your data and is committed to adhering to the highest standards of data protection so that you can use our services with confidence.
Payment processors
Stripe
We use the payment service provider Stripe to process (part of) the payments. Stripe processes your name, address and residence details and your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. Stripe has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Stripe reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and to share (anonymized) data with third parties in this context. In the case of an enquiry for a deferred payment (credit facility), Stripe shares personal data and order data with post-payment service providers. All of the above-mentioned guarantees with regard to the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of Stripe's services for which it engages third parties. Stripe does not store your data for longer than permitted by legal terms.
Reviews
WebwinkelKeur
We collect reviews via the WebwinkelKeur platform. If you leave a review via WebwinkelKeur, you are required to provide a name and email address. WebwinkelKeur shares this information with us so that we can link the review to your order. WebwinkelKeur also publishes your name on its own website. In some cases, WebwinkelKeur may contact you to provide an explanation of your review. If we invite you to leave a review, we will share your name and email address with WebwinkelKeur. They only use this information for the purpose of inviting you to leave a review. WebwinkelKeur has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. WebwinkelKeur reserves the right to engage third parties to provide services, and we have given WebwinkelKeur permission to do so. Shipping and logistics
PostNL
If you place an order with us, it is our job to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of PostNL to carry out deliveries. It is necessary for us to share your name, address and residence details with PostNL. PostNL only uses this information for the purpose of executing the agreement. In the event that PostNL engages subcontractors, PostNL will also make your data available to these parties.
Purpose of data processing
General purpose of the processing
We only use your data for the purpose of providing our services. This means that the purpose of the processing is always directly related to the assignment you provide. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share data with us and we use this data to contact you at a later time - other than at your request - we will ask you for explicit permission to do so. Your data will not be shared with third parties, other than to comply with accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound to confidentiality on the basis of the agreement between them and us or an oath or legal obligation.
Automatically Collected Information
An IP address, browser ID and website usage data may be personal data. Necessary processing for the operation and security of the website is separate from optional statistics. We only collect optional statistics with your permission.
Cooperation in tax and criminal investigations
In appropriate cases, RezScale Modeling may be required by law to share your data in connection with government tax or criminal investigations. In such a case we are forced to share your data, but we will oppose this within the possibilities offered by the law.
Retention periods
We keep your data as long as you are our client. This means that we keep your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you inform us of this, we will also regard this as a request to be forgotten. Based on applicable administrative obligations, we must keep invoices with your (personal) data, so we will keep this data for as long as the applicable period runs. However, employees no longer have access to your client profile and documents that we have produced in response to your assignment.
Your rights
Under applicable Dutch and European legislation, you as a data subject have certain rights with regard to the personal data processed by or on behalf of us. We explain below what these rights are and how you can invoke these rights. In principle, to prevent misuse, we only send copies and copies of your data to the email address you already know. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation to the e-mail address known to us that the data will no longer be processed until you cancel the restriction.
Right to portability
You can ask us to receive the personal data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format or, where technically possible, to transfer it to another service provider. This right applies under the conditions of the GDPR. A request does not mean that you have to terminate our services.
Right to object and other rights
Where appropriate, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by or on behalf of RezScale Modeling. If you object, we will immediately stop data processing pending handling of your objection. If your objection is well-founded, we will make copies and/or copies of data that we process or have processed available to you and then permanently discontinue the processing. Cookies
Google Analytics
Google Analytics from Google Ireland Limited only measures which pages you visit and which actions you perform with your permission. We do not send any form content, contact information or search parameters from the page URL. The Analytics cookies remain for a maximum of 180 days, without renewal for each visit.
In our current Analytics settings, Google stores event data for 2 months and user data for 14 months. With new user activity, the user data period starts again. These deadlines do not apply to most aggregated standard reports. Google may process data outside the European Economic Area. Read Google's privacy policy. The website disables Google Signals, ad storage and ad personalization.
Third party cookies
In our cookie statement you can read which storage we use, who receives the data and how long we keep it. You can withdraw your consent via “Change cookie choice” at the bottom of each page.

Technical performance measurements
With your permission, we measure on our own server how quickly pages load, how stable the layout is and how quickly the website responds to actions. We only store totals by day, page, screen category, and metric, for a maximum of 90 days. This measurement does not use visitor codes and does not store IP addresses, search queries or form content.
We skip optional measurements when your browser reports Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. You can allow or deny website performance and Google Analytics separately.
Requests via this website
We use your contact details and project description to answer your question and prepare a quotation or assignment. We first store a request on our server and forward it to our business mailbox. After confirmed transmission, the server removes the message content from the transmission queue. The shipping reference will remain for a maximum of 30 days, so that a repeat shipping attempt will not result in the same request again. Messages in the mailbox are subject to our retention periods for customer contact and orders.
Cookie Choices and Backups
We keep proof of your cookie choice for a maximum of 210 days: a random reference, the time, the categories chosen and the version of the explanation. We do not add name, IP address or pages visited. This data helps us to demonstrate consent.
We make encrypted backups of the website and its data. We store the 7 most recent automatic copies on the website server. We normally store additional encrypted copies on a second server for 14 days. In the event of a prolonged outage, we retain at least the two most recent copies for recovery. Data that we delete from the active system therefore also disappears when replacing older backups. We use backups for recovery, not for marketing.
