How does MJF work?

The printer divides nylon powder into thin layers. A print head applies liquids that determine where the powder absorbs heat. Heat fuses those parts into your part. After cooling, the loose powder is removed.

When do you choose MJF?

Consider a housing with mounting points, a bracket or a series of parts that require the same shape. Tell which parts should fit and what forces are acting on them. Then we will see together whether MJF or another technique is suitable.

Nylon and finishes

MJF uses nylon, including PA12. The surface has a fine grain. We will agree on the material variant, color and finishing with your quote. Do you have a visible surface or fit that is important? Please indicate this in your enquiry.

MJF or SLS?

Both techniques work with plastic powder. SLS uses a laser; MJF combines liquids with heat. The choice depends, among other things, on shape, number and desired finish. You don't have to make that choice in advance: we will help you compare.
